Scéal is the Irish word for story, and that’s at the core of everything we do.
Founded in 2020 by Mark Boland and Ross Bradshaw, Scéal Creative is an independent production company based in Dublin, Ireland. Today, under the creative leadership of Ross Bradshaw and Managing Director Katie Michalak, the company has evolved into a nimble, end-to-end production partner working across broadcast, digital and brand-led storytelling. We began in television and documentary, and that foundation in narrative craft still drives us. But we are not just TV. Whether we are leading a project from concept to delivery, or plugging in at a key stage of production or post, we bring the same focus: quality, clarity and story.
Our tagline remains “The Art of Good Storytelling” but for us, that isn’t a slogan. It’s a standard.
The team at Scéal Creative combines experienced producers, directors and crew with a trusted post-production pipeline. We are known for being calm under pressure, strong on structure, and committed to delivering work that feels premium, even when budgets are tight.
